If You Must Judge Me

Judge me not for my possessions,
nor my creations, and institutions,
Judge me not for my inhibitions, my persuasions,
my inclinations, my indignations,
Neither for my affiliations,
my separations, nor my situations.
Judge me not for successes either,
or my achievements,
and more importantly my addictions.

Judge me for my silences and shouts.
Judge me for my hate and my prejudice.
Judge me for my countenance.
Judge me even for my knowledge.
If you must, judge me for my failures.

If you judge me at all,
Judge me for the person that I could be,
And not for the person that I am!
